Meet Kyra Bramble
Burning Wings is Kyra's first book, a no-holds barred story of the intense spiritual awakening that can occur amidst the madness and epiphanies of drug culture, all told through a contemporary female lens with signature Gonzo flair.
Kyra Bramble is one of those people who lives and loves fearlessly, and that attitude is reflected in her writing. She is a writer, globe-trotter, die-hard burner, queer celebrator, in-demand holistic chef, yoga teacher, and entrepreneur. Raised in liberal northern California with roots in the East Coast, she spent her twenties based in San Francisco before moving to Maui, where she still lives today.
A book worm since childhood, she views words as passports to the soul, and a conduit to share the intangible yet ubiquitous emotions that all humans experience. Her intention as a writer is to blur the lines between revelry and spirituality and to pioneer a new genre of female-centric counter-culture writing.

Burning Wings early reviews:
“Burning Wings whisks you away into a fantastical dream-like tale of love, fear and growth. The authorβs honest vulnerability and playful writing style authentically captures the magic of experiencing Burning Man through the eyes of a first-time attendee. She pedals us through an emotional and psychedelic journey of the self, mirrored in the exploration of Black Rock Cityβs whimsical and darker sides alike. Itβs the first book in years I was unable to put down.”

“Raw, cathartic, filled with dusty frustration and love, Ms. Bramble delves into a semi autobiographical account of one of her years in Black Rock City, known better as Burning Man. She paints an honest poetic View of her experiences, whether real or imagined. From whimsical journey to the pitfalls of mental anxiety, bramble will take you on a quite a ride through the dust like you have never quite experienced before.”
